Welcome To:

Addressing gaps in forensic education, exploration, and participation.

Increasing accessibility in the growing field of forensics.

Our Purpose:

Creating a public-access website with easy to understand forensics information.
Forensics is an ever-evolving field that continues to bolster the effects of our justice system. However, despite the field’s growing relevance, access to resources providing possible applications and opportunities is difficult to obtain, especially for students and young adults considering pursuing a career in forensics. While international programs such as HOSA spark students’ interest in forensics, they often only provide information and opportunities behind a paywall. Additionally, the information that is freely available is often still inaccessible and difficult to sort through due to the vastness of the internet. Our overall goal is to compile information from all areas of forensic science into a public-access website that can be easily navigated. We want individuals who visit our website to not only be able to explore and research their interests in forensics but also view career opportunities and educational pathways.
Educate students on forensics as a career.

What is Forensics?

Forensic science is the application of scientific methods and techniques to investigate and solve crimes. It plays a crucial role in the criminal justice system by providing objective, evidence-based findings that can be used to convict perpetrators or exonerate the innocent.Forensic scientists analyze various types of physical evidence collected from crime scenes, such as DNA, blood, fibers, firearms, and explosives, using advanced equipment and techniques. This allows them to establish connections between suspects, victims, and the crime scene, and to determine key details about the incident, such as the cause and time of death. The relationship between forensic science and criminal investigations is vital, as it can make the difference between solving a case or leaving it unsolved.
Using scientific methods to analyze evidence from crimes.
Assisting in solving crimes by confirming connections between victims, susoects, and the scene.

About Us:

We are the students behind Future in Forensics, Ella and Anna! We are seniors from Arizona and this website is our capstone project for our BioMedical Science class. It has been our baby for the past 8 months and we are incredibly proud to be showing it to you!
We are both highly dedicated individuals, both inside and outside of the classroom, participating in things such as dance, marching band, WGAZ, and much more. Additionally, we are 4-year HOSA members and forensic competitors, 3-year state finalists, and 1 year international finalists. It is our hope that our experience as 4-year PLTW BioMedical Science course completers, and President/Vice President of our HOSA chapter will help others explore forensics science through the information on our website.
